ASSESSMENT SUMMARY


The Office of the Vice Provost for Student Success values collaborative partnerships that focus resources on initiatives important to the greater University Community. The most important initiatives are those that promote student success in the classroom and foster an environment in which students can learn and grow. These initiatives are most successful when they are developed in full partnership with students, faculty and other members of the University Community.

Priority: Assessment of program effectiveness

Leader: Jane Tuttle and Frank DeSalvo

CHARGE: Develop a general assessment model that can be implemented by each Student Success department and that can be used as a framework to assess the effectiveness of the various Priorities. The result should be documentable evidence that substantiates the effect of our programs and services.
OUTCOME: Position Student Success to create and implement an assessment plan/model which is adaptable to the unique needs of each department or priority.
