University Advising Center (UAC) provides
comprehensive academic advising services and
coordinates the Freshman Summer Institute, a four-week academic transition
program for new freshmen. UAC staff also coordinate the Haskell Mentor Program
which links KU faculty, staff and students mentors with students transferring
from Haskell Indian Nations University and operated the Mt. Oread Scholars
Program for high-ability freshmen.
Masters Program Assistant (brief description)
Assists with academic advising of students, including individual and small group sessions during academic year as well as summer, fall and spring orientation. Assists with selection and training of peer advisors, the planning and implementation of the Majors Fair, and other duties as assigned.
