Consider Student Housing





 


The Department of Student Housing provides academically focused campus living for over 5100 students. Living options for student vary from traditional residence hall settings, to suite-style, apartments, thematic learning communities, and cooperative houses. Graduate students serve in a variety of roles. Placement decisions in Student Housing will be based on position availability coupled with skills and interests of each candidate. Positions may be for 10 or 12 months duration. Both housing and meal plan are provided, in addition to a biweekly stipend.

Assistant Complex Director (brief description)

Serves as a member of the senior leadership team for a residential area housing between 500-1000 students to foster an inclusive community conducive to academic success. Supervises and evaluates Resident Assistant staff, serves as a judicial hearing officer, and facilitates programmatic initiatives. Prior residential group living experience is required.

Scholarship Hall Director (brief description)

Serves as director of a cooperative hall housing 50 undergraduate students to foster the development of an inclusive, group-centered, academic community with emphasis on student input, responsibility, and shared decision making. Supervises the undergraduate Proctor and advises the hall’s government and judicial board. Prior residential group living experience is required.
