Biographical Sketch
Jason Hornberger came to the University of Kansas in 2002 as Assistant Director of Budget Management & Fiscal Services. While in Budget Management, Jason was the primary budget liaison to Student Success and the Chancellor’s Office. Jason joined Student Success in 2007 as Senior Budget and Personnel Administrator. In this role, Jason is responsible for coordinating budget and personnel efforts across twenty departments and offices in Student Success.
Prior to joining the University of Kansas, Jason Hornberger spent ten years at Sprint-Nextel Corporation working in corporate finance roles such as auditing, international finance and consumer finance. Jason began his professional career in the banking industry as an auditor.
Jason Hornberger earned a B.S. in Business Administration from Kansas State University and a Master's degree in Business Administration from the University of Missouri-Kansas City. Jason is also a Certified Public Accountant.
Jason enjoys volunteering for non-profit service organizations. He is an alumnus of the Chamber of Commerce Leadership Lawrence program and serves local non-profit agencies in a variety of capacities.
