Suzanne Goff (AAAC) appointed as President of the Lawrence Chapter of the Pittsburg State University Alumni Association, her alma mater.
Teresa Krambeer (DSH) is actively involved in the Habitat for Humanity "Re-Store."
Carol Cooper (DSH) serves as Board Secretary for the Baldwin Community Theatre board of directors.
Michele Kessler (LSS) is actively involved in the Rails to Trails initiative in Kansas.
Gail James (AAAC) appointed to Board of Directors,
Women's Foundation of
Greater Kansas City.
Brian McDow (UCC) was elected Senior Vice Chair Kansas Division of the United States Fencing Association for 2006-2007.
Lindsay Schaefer (FSAC) is engaged to Mathieu Groh and will be married December 29, 2007.

(FSAC) staff volunteered at the Jubilee Cafe on December 15th and participated in a food drive for the Lawrence Humane Society December 11-15. Items collected included three large boxes of food, toys, paper towels, newspapers, dish soap, instant film, and blankets. Two hundred pounds of cat litter was also donated!
(OUR) staff participated in a fundraiser for the Lawrence Humane Society.
(SILC) Laura Bauer, Jamie Ehlinger, Angela King and Rueben Perez, all serve as “Bigs” with Big Brothers/Big Sisters.
Julie Bond (SIS), Christine Schuler (SIS) and Mary Vandeventer (retired OUR) were featured in the Community Blood Center's Annual Report this past year. They have a 'buddy' team for donating blood and have been donating for a very long time now. Along with being featured in the annual report, they were also invited to attend the Celebration of Giving Awards Banquet which is being held on Thursday, February 8, 2007 at the local Holidome.
