  • (AAAC) The Learning Communities (LC) Program is pleased to report a Chancellor's Learning Community in partnership with the Honors Program, African Studies Department and the Dole Institute.

Chancellor Hemenway's interest in the United Nations Millennium Development Goals has led to the creation in Fall 07 of a Learning Community, entitled: "End of Global Poverty: Focus on Africa." With 4 faculty integrating courses in African History, Economic Development, as well as International Politics and Global Organizations, the Chancellor is facilitating the LC Seminar at his residence with 18 students from the Honors Program.

This is a collaboration with the Student Involvement and Leadership Center and the Multicultural Resource Center, Fall 2007.
