AWARDS and KUDOS __________________________________________ Avila, Vince (DSH) Named Unclassified Employee for January and Employee of the Year, 2007. Farran, Paul (ATS) One of two Student Success representatives elected to serve on the Unclassified Senate governing board. Gile, Allison (AAAC) Participated in the Linkugel Speech Competition. Placed in top 14 among the contestants. April 25, 2007. Kessler, Michele (LSS) Was honored at the KU employee recognition for 20 years service to KU. Nesmith, Britt (CAPS) Passed state exam for Licensed Masters Social Worker, April 2007. Quisenberry,Aaron (SILC) Recipient of the C.L.A.S.S. Award, given annually by the Board of Class Officers (BOCO) to an administrator for demonstrating outstanding leadership. The award was presented at the KU-Iowa State Home Basketball Game, February 24, 2007. Rasnak, Mary Ann (AAAC) Will be recognized on the 2007-2008 KU Women of Distinction Calendar. Rogers, Bernadette (SHS) Named the recipient of Student Health Services', "You Can Count on Me" award. Student Health Services (SHS) "Team of the Year" award went to members of the Centennial Celebration Committee (Mai Do, Judy Pinegar Carolyn Johnson, Karen Loyden, Samantha Rivera, Jackie Florez, Lynette Miller, Brenadette Rogers, Sandy Hadl, and Jerry Stubbs). Starnes, Gina (UCC) Received a scholarship for the summer 2007 session to the NACE Management Leadership Institute for Career Services Professionals. Management Leadership Institute is a five-day, professionally intensive workshop offered by the National Association of Colleges and Employers (NACE). Mullens, Linda (VPSS) Will be recognized on
the 2007-2008 KU Women of Distinction Calendar. Waitley, Candace (SHS) Named Student Health Services' Employee of the Year. Wamelink, Jennifer (DSH) Named Associate Director for Residence Life after serving as the Interim Associate since April 2006. ![]() |
