Advisory Board Member Interest

The purpose of the KU Parent Association is to:

  • Foster the University partnership with families in providing a quality educational experience that supports students' success;
  • Enhance communication between the University and families of KU students;
  • Promote University programs and services that best meet the needs of KU students and their families;
  • Support the University and encourage members to be informed, effective ambassadors for KU in their local communities.

Parents and family members are invited to learn more about serving on the Advisory Board. This 16 member Board is made up of students, university officials and parents/family members. Meetings are once a semester in Lawrence. If you'd like to learn more about the Advisory Board, please send an email to parents@ku.edu.
